A seminar called 'People's Perspective on Disasters in Ancient Times' was held at our Bulanık Vocational School.
In the seminar organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Mandacı, a faculty member of the History Department of Bitlis Eren University, under the coordination of Lecturer Rezzan Ekinci, disasters were discussed from a historical perspective.
In the seminar held in the conference hall of our Vocational School, the ways people perceived disasters in ancient times, their comments on disasters, and various findings obtained in ancient cities that are important in terms of earthquake history were discussed. The reasons for and solutions to disasters in ancient times, when technology was not as advanced as today, were explained.
The seminar, which was held with the participation of our instructors and students, was concluded after the presentation of a certificate of appreciation.
